Forbo Marmoleum and Artoleum GECA certified again
Forbo Marmoleum and Artoleum have been independently certified as meeting the requirements of the new Good Environmental Choice (GECA) standard GECA 25-2011-Floor Coverings. These products were the first flooring to be attributed a Good Environmental Choice label under GECA’s inaugural standards.
GECA is a not for profit, membership based entity established to recognise and promote environmental excellence in goods and services in Australia.
Recognised by the Green Building Council of Australia, it is also the Australian member of the Global Eco-labelling Network (GEN). Gen is an international network of national eco-labelling programs operating under ISO 14024.
Forbo Marmoleum is made of 100 percent bio-based content and carries more third-party, independent, LCA based environmental certifications than any other flooring material. It has a 100 year plus track record of performance and durability, and sets a benchmark unmatched in the resilient flooring industry.
Its permanent, natural properties kill MRSA and Norovirus; it is naturally anti-static, R10 slip rated, features Topshield for no sealing, offers easy low cost cleaning. ISO 14001:2004.
