A new dimension in flooring as Forbo buys Flotex
The international acquisition by Forbo of Flotex means that a much broader range of this incredibly dense flocked commercial flooring will now be available in Australia.
Forbo will make available the global Flotex collection which extends to 420 colours and 31 ranges across tile and sheet formats.
Flotex is a completely unique flooring experience. It looks and feels like carpet but without the drawbacks. It is highly durable, waterproof and the only truly washable textile floor covering.
Flotex also gives constant anti-microbial and anti-bacterial protection, has R12 slip resistance and offers acoustic dampening of up to 20dB.
Looks include a subtle linear effect, a variety of random patterns, tranquil and modern geometrics and a heavily textured look. New high definition technology applied allows for large endless pattern repeats and vivid life like designs.
