Plywood and LVL (laminated veneer lumber)
The range of products manufactured and merchandised by EWPAA members includes the traditional interior, exterior and marine plywood products, and a wide range of modern engineered wood products encompassing structural plywoods used for formwork, residential and commercial flooring, wind and earthquake bracing, and feature cladding, and LVL and I-beam products used in commercial and residential structures.
The market development program coordinated by the EWPAA on behalf of its members, comprises the elements:

- market maintenance
EWPAA products: Independently tested to the highest standard; guaranteed to comply with Australian and New Zealand standards; certified under JAS-ANZ accredited product certification scheme’ guaranteed to be safe and to carry the designated design load; complies with building codes and standards in Australia and New Zealand; meets safety and quality requirements acceptable by unions; meets all Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
EWPAA support: Free technical back-up; free design information; free site inspections and dispute resolution in the event of quality disputes or conflicts.
Reduced risk: All EWPAA certified products are covered by $10,000,000 in product liability insurance. EWPAA members guarantee product quality and performance for the ‘life’ of the product under the EWPAA Articles of Association.
Social: Keeping jobs and prosperity in Australasia. No workers have been exploited in the manufacture of these products.
All EWPAA certified products have been independently tested at the EWPAA's NATA-accredited laboratory for formaldehyde emissions and labelled accordingly.
No EWPAA product contains genetically modified wood. EWPAA certified products are not manufactured from endangered timber species or illegally sourced timber.
