Dux opens dedicated solar training facility

Demand created from the Federal Government’s solar hot water rebate program and legislation mandating the use of environmental water heaters has driven Australia’s largest locally owned solar hot water manufacturer, Dux Hot Water, to open a dedicated environmental hot water training centre.

Dux has officially opened the Dux Solar Institute – a state-of-the-art, purpose-built centre, which aims to train over 1,000 people in the next year to build the capability of the environmental hot water industry and create a pipeline of trained solar workers for the rapidly growing sector.

The Dux Solar Institute is located adjacent to Dux’s manufacturing plant in Moss Vale, New South Wales, and will provide training and education to help overcome the issues plumbers and retailers face with environmental water heaters and the processes associated with solar technology.
