FireLite heat resistant glass
FireLite is a transparent crystallized super heat resistant glass 5 mm thick, developed by Nippon Electric Glass Co. Ltd of Japan.
The CSIRO Fire Science Centre in Sydney has given FireLite an accredited fire rating of 3 hours, based on the requirements of the AS 1530 Part 4 Code.
Because of the unique features of FireLite, it offers architects, designers and fire rated window manufacturers a wide range of design applications using an approved framing system.
