Variflex operable walls
Variflex from Dorma makes the use of operable walls much easier. Setting up an operable wall correctly is often a difficult task. Incorrectly interlocking the panels introduces an acoustic leak, which will compromise the level of acoustic privacy between rooms.
A full-length magnetic strip in each interlocking Variflex panel edge assists in providing a positive seal and the correct mating of panels. Similar to the function of a high-end refrigerator seal, the magnetic strip ensures any acoustic leakage at the panel junctions is addressed, literally sucking the panels together.
