Its all straight up and down with DecoWood™
DecoWood™ wood grain finish on aluminium was used for a wall to ceiling vertical screen in a Sydney office building because timber was not available in four metre lengths that would be straight enough.
The 50 × 150 mm MetalART Industries Supabattens were coated in DecoWood™ Snow Gum to give the natural look of timber in perfectly straight lengths. Considering the large size of the sections, aluminium was also a far more affordable option as well as being easier to install due to its light weight.
The screen was used in the foyer of 1 Oxford Street, Sydney, to divide the front entrance from the café. The natural timber look softened the stark interior and the vertical beams resembled trees as a contrast to the city environment.
