Durable DecoWood designed for coastal environments
DecoWood wood grain finish on aluminium is a marine grade powder coating, meaning that it is ideal for costal applications.
While most powder coating cannot be used within 100 metres of salt water according to Australian Standards, DecoWood is a marine-grade finish so it can be used on absolute beachfront properties and beyond.

For example, ClearView shutters coated in the DecoWood finish “Western Red Cedar” were recently used in a beachfront apartment block in the well renowned Sydney suburb of Manly. The shutters were used around the rear balcony in order to control light and airflow to the space. Timber or standard powder coating could not have stood up to the high levels of salt spray and UV radiation induced by the location of the apartments.
