DecoWood™ aluminium boasts advanced post-forming qualities
DecoWood™ wood grain powder coating on aluminium offers more design options due to the impressive post-forming qualities of the finish.
When used in architectural projects, DecoWood™ aluminium can be formed in numerous ways after the finish has been applied to create a variety of effects.
Aluminium flat sheets or extrusions with the DecoWood™ Smooth finish can be bent on an angle of up to 90 degrees without distorting the image of timber.
This technology was used for a privacy screen inside the Liverpool Library in Sydney (see image). 65 × 16 mm slats were gently rolled and then positioned so as to alternate the concave and convex curves for a ‘wave’ effect.
