DecoWood adds “green-feel” to KFC stores nationally
DecoWood timber look aluminium cladding was used externally during renovations of several KFC restaurants across Australia. The timber look aluminium was chosen to create a more natural feel within the stores and hence a more enjoyable atmosphere for diners.
DecoWood cladding is an ideal alternative to timber in such applications where the product is exposed to the elements all day. As DecoWood is aluminium, it will not, warp, rot or turn grey like timber does. Best of all, it never needs painting or staining.
DecoWood is a marine-grade powder coating on aluminium that has been tested extensively in extreme environmental conditions such as high UV radiation, salt spray and industrial pollution, and has passed all Australian and international standards for quality.
On the KFC restaurant renovations, the DecoWood timber finish was applied to the Ulltraclad product. Ulltraclad comes in many different panel widths and designs. It is incredibly versatile, as it can be used horizontally or vertically; in commercial or residential projects; as cladding, gable ends or even feature walls.
