Hebel® Accent™ adds new flair for walls
A new routing capability for Hebel panels is giving designers and architects new and exciting ways to make a statement with their designs.
Made from autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), Hebel is a remarkable building material ideally suited to commercial, industrial civil and residential construction where lightweight building materials are preferred. One quarter the weight of standard masonry, Hebel® panels can be installed with expressed joints or rendered to provide a monolithic look. Hebel has also been certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) as an environmentally responsible building material alternative.
Hebel Accent has already been employed in external façade projects, internal feature walls and roadside sound barriers with some amazing architectural and artistic effects being achieved.
“Hebel Accent provides the design freedom to take an idea and recreate it on a grand scale using just one wall element, eliminating the need for expensive precast moulds and without being restricted to repeat panels” says Paul Mooney, National Marketing Manager for Hebel®.
“The routing capability can produce just about any design from simple geometric shapes and contours to large scale, free-flowing designs on an entire building façade. The ability to rout to varying depths also allows for replication of a sculpted look”, says Paul.
For those looking for a quick and easy way to include Hebel Accent on a project, Hebel has a number of standard designs available at an economical square metre routing cost.
