Gyprock EC08 plasterboard with ReCore technology

Gyprock EC08 plasterboard with ReCore technology by CSR Gyprock Lightweight Systems

The original Gyprock EC08 with ReCore technology, launched last year, was the first Australian-made plasterboard to be certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA). Now three boards in the EC08 range carry GECA certification and can contribute to Green Star points in the Green Building Council Australia’s calculators.

The expanded CSR Gyprock EC08 plasterboard range includes EC08 Partition, EC08 Fire and EC08 Impact plasterboards. This trio provides designers of green buildings with the flexibility to specify different grades of board for specific applications. This can reduce the cost of achieving Green Star points. Premium fire- and impact-resistant boards can be specified for walls where those specific characteristics are desired. The standard partition board can be used in other areas.
