CaesarStone’s decorative side
Better known for its sleek and minimal surfaces, CaesarStone can now be accented with a decorative textured finish applied by sandblasting a pattern into the stone’s surface.
CaesarStone’s durable composition – 97% quartz plus pigments and polymers – makes the sandblasting possible. Using specialized machinery, dry abrasive sand is blasted at the material at high pressure, allowing it to etch the surface.
Decorative patterns can be applied to an entire slab, or added as a border or feature panel. This textured finish is ideal for vertical surfaces and can be applied to feature walls, countertops, furniture or partitions in both commercial and residential design. The sandblasting process starts with a CAD file of the decorative design, which can be used to produce a template. The process can by done by hand or off a computer-controlled machine.
Decorative sandblasted surfaces can be viewed in the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane CaesarStone showrooms.
