BlueScope Steel launches online warranty management system

A new internet-based system will provide a faster, more instantaneous way of managing warranty assessments and applications for BlueScope Steel products. With the introduction of BlueScope Steel’s Warranty Management System (WMS), users can quickly view the suitability of BlueScope Steel’s products for a specific environment or create their own unique warranty for their own project.

Applications are then stored in the system enabling quick multiple warranty applications for various BlueScope Steel product applications. Emails containing the expected warranties with their activation code or the actual warranty information is automatically sent to the applicant. Should the application be denied an application can be made on line for a review of the decision.

“Online warranty management now grants easy access to warranties for all users, from first home builders and home-owners to multi-national developers” said Mark Eckermann, National Market Development Manager.

Ready Reckoner – Assess the environmental suitability for a BlueScope Steel product with this quick indicative tool for new product applications. Users can change various aspects of a proposed building design to see how it might impact the eligibility for warranty.

Expected Warranty Application – Prior to construction, evaluate expected warranty periods for products by submitting specific details about a proposed design.

Actual Warranty Application – Generate a new warranty document by a step-by-step guide through the application process. A warranty certificate is then produced immediately and made available to download or print.
