The Biolytix R&D Team studied nature's biolytic process: the efficient decomposition of waste by a complex range of living organisms. They spent millions of dollars to carefully engineer this into their hardworking ecosystem in a tank. 

The patented Biolytix systems are used for households and commercially. They can also be networked for towns and housing developments. Each of the 1100 houses at Point Boston, South Australia, is designated to have a Biolytix System, and their first allotment has been installed already. 

Features and benefits

Biolytix combines excellent functionality with excellence in environmental performance. It is approved in all states and territories in Australia and throughout New Zealand.

It uses around 90% less energy than conventional systems, with high-energy mechanical aerators as it treats sewage by working with nature – saving 1000 kWh per year. 

No mechanical aerators also means there is less noise and far fewer moving parts to be maintained and eventually replaced. A Biolytix system needs only one annual check-up, because it emulates nature's robustness. In contrast, most other systems require three to four services each year.

The biolytic process is fully aerobic, so it does not require a septic stage or create sludge. This means it is odourless and also does not require routine pump outs. 

Biolytix is one of the most compact systems on the market. It is discrete and requires less earthworks and less disruption to the garden than its competitors.
