Just Roof integrated solar roofing system

Artemis Building Systems (ABS), with Suntech, the world’s largest photovoltaic (PV) solar panel manufacturer, now distribute a complete range of building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products, covering integrated roof systems, glazing for skylights, windows, glazed awnings, curtain walls and sunshades.

Just Roof is a product comprised of black-framed PV panels with a proprietary waterproof glazing bar system. Just Roof is designed to form a completely integrated roof that can replace standard roof cladding systems. It has an impressive power rating of 130 W/m2.

Popular overseas for over 14 years and featuring leak-free installation, Just Roof can be integrated within conventional roof structures and, in particular, gable-type roof structures. When it is fully metal flashed, Just Roof blends in naturally within the roofing envelope, due to its low profile. It provides clean, free energy without compromising aesthetics.

Just Roof has been tested and complies with Australian and international PV standards, having undergone mechanical load pressure tests of up to 2.4 kPa. It is CEC-approved for Australian use.

ABS recently won the supply contract for the heritage-listed Sydney Town Hall. The 43 kW PV roof project, with its innovative mounting and panel system, addressed the heritage and structural issues involved with the roof’s slate tiles and structure.
