ARS wire rope and mesh
Stainless steel mesh and wire rope from Architectural Rigging Services can be used in a variety of ways.
Mesh can been used vertically for safety screens, green wall and trellis applications, animal enclosures, security fences, 3D balustrade infill and horizontally as an architectural feature, safety net and bird enclosure.
Stainless steel cables can be used for balustrading, catenary lighting cables, tension elements in architecture, lightweight structural members, support for plants and foliage and tension elements in building trusses.
The main stainless steel used at ARS is marine-grade 316 steel, chosen for its resistance to electrolysis and corrosion in general. This grade of wire requires the least maintenance and has great physical properties like flexibility, high yield strength and predictability in manufacture.
ARS can supply cables of any diameter and has in-house swagging capability from 2.5 mm to 28 mm. The break loads stainless wire varies from 2.5 mm 1 × 19 at 4.90kN to 28 mm 1 × 61 at 517.00 kN.
