Photovoltaic façade system
An integrated facade system that offers new standards for energy- and resource-saving architecture has been launched in Australia by Alucobond Architectural.
Alucobond Photovoltaic combines Alucobond aluminium composite panels with functional photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight into electricity, enabling architects and designers to utilize building facades for sustainable energy generation.
The photovoltaic modules are mounted on the usual substructures and simply joined with prefabricated plug-in cables.
From urban housing projects and office buildings to shopping centres, parking blocks and airports, Alucobond Photovoltaic panels can be integrated into various facade formations in a creative way.
