Alpine MDF Industries
Alpine MDF Industries Ltd is located in the north-east industrial estate near Wangaratta and was commissioned in 1996. In December 2002 the business was purchased by a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sumitomo Forestry Company Ltd of Tokyo, Japan. The Sumitomo Forestry Company was established in Japan in 1691, in the field of mineral exploration. The company was incorporated in 1948 and is now one of Japan’s largest timber related and housing businesses.
