HAWA Junior GP and Junior GL are premium sliding glass door systems designed for glass from 8 to 12.7 mm thick, and facilitate no-hassle room design with ceiling-to-floor transparency. Elegant and aesthetic solutions – perfectly tailored to suit the character of glass, that blend into any ambience with exceptional ease. Installation is incredibly easy with the HAWA Junior GP/GL and the HAWA Toplock quality locking system. The sliding door hardware system is available for glass panel weights of 40 – 80 kg (GL) and 40 – 160 kg (GP).
The real innovation is the elegant, easily fitted single point of suspension – the ‘Achilles’ heel of every conventional sliding glass door. All hardware system parts, including the lock, screw directly to the glass. Finally and end to familiar woes liked smeared silicone and trimming aluminium profiles.
Optional fixed glass integration – without glass cut-outs or visible hardware – is another innovative development, making HAWA Junior GP/GL an extremely user-friendly and trendy sliding door system on the one hand, and a versatile and adaptable partitioning system on the other.
While there is plenty of innovative engineering at work in the HAWA Junior GP/GL systems all hardware components are kept out of sight. Elegant cover caps conceal all glass fixing components in HAWA Junior GP. The caps allow colour design freedom and turn glass architecture into an eye catching feature. Hafele offers rounded or square cover caps in a variety of different finishes: stainless steel effect, matt or polished chrome plated, brass polished or untreated for coating in any colour. While the HAWA Junior GL components are neatly concealed within its clip on profile covers also available in a variety of finishes.
Häfele’s Smuso soft-closing family of products provides perfect solutions when coupled with HAWA Junior 80 GP or GL for doors weighing up to 80 kg. The soft-closing element can be quickly and easily fitted on the right-or left-hand side of the sliding door. With the Smuso soft-closing mechanism, interior sliding doors are smoothly and silently brought to a stop then gently pulled into their end position and held securely.
