Fujitsu General has expanded its range of inverter split-system airconditioners with a new energy-efficient under-ceiling model.

The ABTA 30LBT model uses all DC components including fan motors, and the outdoor unit features a DC twin-rotary compressor. As a result, the energy-efficient unit achieves a four-star rating for cooling and a five-star rating for heating.

The unit’s airflow can be set in a combination of left/right and up/down directional swings across five selectable steps in each plane, which allows for three-dimensional air direction control and effective performance.

The ABTA 30LBT also offers long-distance airflow, with a maximum throw of up to 18 metres in both cooling and heating modes.

The ABTA 30LBT under-ceiling model has an 8.5 kW cooling capacity and a 10.0 kW heating capacity.
