Composites Consulting Group (CCG) is a global engineering group specializing in the design and engineering of composite materials. We are able to design and engineer complex structures and shapes that are either fully composite or require composite components, for any industry, from civil and architectural to marine through transportation.

We are also able to work with metallic structures, especially when they are integrated to composite components. Our focus is to design structures optimized to the client’s requirements using the unique advantages offered by composite materials such as freedom of form, light weight, stiffness, corrosion resistance, thermal and acoustic insulation and low impact on the environment. Some of the main areas of the civil and architectural industry we support are: internal and external facade cladding, roof and ceiling structures, awnings and balconies, composite bridges, art work and sculptures.

CCG is an independent composite design and engineering group, which is part of the Swedish company DIAB.

Since the 1950s, DIAB has been a leading presence in the composites market and has been instrumental in the development of the sandwich concept. This is the light weight adaptation of the steel I-beam concept.

Through the years, DIAB has always had strong engineering expertise, and has now made it available to the global market with CCG, its consultancy business group. CCG offers a full range of engineering services: conceptual design, structural analysis, drafting, modelling, finite element analysis, processing technology, project management, technical support, tooling and production as well as training services to the composite industry.
