Glassworks has incorporated the option of specifying an anti-slip coating technology by Italian manufacturer OmniDécor®. Available in the standard Extra Clear satin finish, this is the first anti-slip flooring that achieves a smooth flawless finish. There is also the option of a pattern grip, with a slightly raised pattern for effect and extra grip. Both options deliver modern and unique architecture for stairs and other flooring applications.

On a practical note, ArchiLam™ anti-slip flooring’s satin finish deflects dirt and marks, making it a low maintenance solution. And the matt texture, with the option of a pattern grip, ensures it is truly a safe surface to walk on.

This anti-slip flooring is a part of Glassworks’ ArchiLam™ line. ArchiLam™ is customised laminated glass able to be produced in sizes up to 2400m x 6000m (subject to glass availability), creating endless possibilities for complex canopies, podium, balustrade, partition and facade options.

Other examples of ArchiLam™ include: toughened laminating with or without cut-outs and holes; printed laminates; mirror laminates; and thick glass laminating. The added feature of including printing, cloth and material in the laminating process gives designers an almost unlimited ability to realise their creative potential.
