TOSO roller blinds on all 19 floors of the Eclipse Tower
TOSO Australia is pleased to announce that the final two floors have just been installed at the Eclipse Tower in Parramatta, ending an exciting project for all those concerned with major tenants such as Deloitte's, Servcorp, NSW Fair Trading, QBE and Landcom.
At 89 m, this office tower is the tallest building in Parramatta which is the demographic heart of Sydney.
To match the overall high quality fit-out for this building, Mytec a premium Japanese blind system was chosen, rather than a standard roller blind system because of its longer guarantee, faster gearing and lightness in operation.
The TOSO Mytec roller blind was manufactured by Helioscreen, who have over 20 years manufacturing experience and used their Absolute Screen Platinum fabric with the system.
Absolute Screen Platinum is an environmentally friendly polyester fabric with a subtly striped texture, offers enhanced glare control whilst maintaining a view to the outside, and features a metallised backing for extra heat and light reflection.
Eclipse Tower has achieved a 5 Star Green Star Office Design v2 rating and a 5 Star Green Star (as built) v2 rating by the Green Building Council of Australia. The development has also achieved a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating.
In July 2013, Eclipse Tower was awarded “Best Commercial Development” at the Urban Taskforce 2013 Development Excellence Awards, presented by the Governor of NSW, Marie Bashir. The development also received a Commendation at the 2013 UDIA NSW Awards for Excellence in the category of Commercial and Retail.
The developers were Leighton Properties and Grosvenor Australia, and Architect fitzpatrick + partners.
