Taubmans innovates enamel paint with next generation technology
Taubmans has transformed the enamels category with the introduction of Taubmans Ultimate Enamel – a next generation, quick-dry enamel that features superior Alkyd Technology. Designed for high traffic areas and surfaces, Taubmans Ultimate Enamel ensures the hard-wearing durability and ultra-premium performance of a traditional oil-based enamel, whilst being environmentally friendly.
The Alkyd technology in Taubmans Ultimate Enamel has been expertly engineered by Taubmans’ fully accredited NATA laboratory. It is yet another example of Taubmans and its parent Company, PPG’s, continued investment in and commitment to new technologies that drive category innovation.
Taubmans Ultimate Enamel provides quicker drying times, less yellowing, and higher gloss levels, when compared to existing products in the market. This all-in-one enamel solution is ideal for high end professional finishes, and has been engineered for high traffic areas and surfaces that are subject to the torture test - ideal for interior and exterior doors, trim, skirtings and windows. The product is also ideal for plaster, masonry and bricks.
Designed for architecture and design professionals seeking a best-in-class architectural coating, the product is suitable for specialist residential and commercial projects, including healthcare, aged care and education. Its antibacterial formula effectively prevents the growth of mould, mildew, fungus and bacteria.
In addition to these features, Taubmans Ultimate Enamel is environmentally friendly allowing for convenient water wash up, with no harsh solvents required. It also has less odour than traditional oil-based enamels, and low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it suitable for use in Green Building Council Projects.
The product’s alkyd base also provides a longer open edge time allowing for easier application and ultimately, a superior finish.
One of the oldest paint brands in the market, Taubmans has been painting Australian homes for over 110 years. Taubmans' new owners, PPG, also have a long history of applying global technologies to gain a competitive edge.Learn more
