Tactile indicators for historical hotel project

This beautiful historical hotel at the Rocks in Sydney is undergoing major refurbishment.

The building construction and project management company required disability standards AS/NZS 1428.4 – 2009 and Disability Standard legislation 2010 compliant tactile solution. They contacted Global Safe Technologies Australia, to provide tactile indicator supply and installation for the project.

Management has already known Global Safe, from previous projects and was confident engaging the company for the project as the company has an excellent understanding of the relevant standards and application, proven outstanding quality and range of the product, long term warranty, ongoing risk management program (SSRMP©) and competitive price.

The specification was for the installation of stainless steel tactiles with anti slip inserts, mainly to wooden and some to carpeted surfaces at various locations.

Stage 1 of the project has completed to the total satisfaction of the client who has noted the satisfaction not only with the quality of the work, but also the professionalism of the staff that attended the site.

Stage 2 of the project is progressing and Global Safe is expected to provide the solution for the tactile indicator requirements.
