Alumiere is a new range of high performance windows and doors with a unique design that allows for larger spans of glass and unobstructed views.

Stegbar has launched Alumiere, a new range of high performance windows and doors with a unique design that allows for larger spans of glass and unobstructed views. With Alumiere, size limitations have been increased to allow for glass panel heights of up to three metres to be easily achieved, making the new range ideal for modern architecture where the emphasis is on ample windows and open-plan living.

Alumiere incorporates a mitred sash that’s common across all windows in the range, offering the look of bespoke joinery, so it’s perfect for prestige residential and multi-residential homes, as well as high-end commercial applications.

“Alumiere has a strong, bold profile that lends itself nicely to contemporary architectural designs with the ability to combine any product within the range to create a seamless look,” says Christine Evans, Stegbar’s marketing manager. “For anyone designing and building a home in a fantastic location that has a breath-taking view, with Alumiere, you can take complete advantage of the amazing scenery without compromising on style.”

Not only does Alumiere look good, the system resists the elements and high winds, making it an excellent choice for coastal areas.

“Our development team has been able to remove the issues that previously plagued large glass panel windows and frames, resulting in a solution that’s airtight and watertight, so Alumiere windows and doors are leak-free and rattle-free,” says Ms Evans.

For applications that demand acoustic performance, Alumiere offers superior peace and quiet as a standard product. Add a high-performance glazing option and Alumiere will meet most acoustic, thermal, privacy and security requirements.

Alumiere is available in three frame widths (80 mm, 113 mm and 136 mm) that fit together modularly to create unique configurations and comes in a range of powdercoated and anodized aluminium colours. Alumiere windows are available in awning, double-hung, sliding, stacking, casement and fixed styles, while Alumiere doors are available as hinged and sliding units, with a stacking option to be available soon.

With Alumiere comes an upgrade in hardware that’s designed to significantly improve the functionality and visual appearance of locks and handles for windows and doors. Available in a convenient "one key" solution that will lock and unlock all of the windows in a home, the hardware comes in stainless steel, aluminium grey, white or black finish. Custom-designed solutions are also available for individualisation and personalisation, and include exclusive sliding window locks, sleek flush-pull handles and statement-making contemporary handles with hidden key locks. All hardware is corrosion resistant offering a lifetime of good looks.

Alumiere is manufactured in Australia by Stegbar to suit diverse Australian conditions.
