Unlike foams and polymers used for acoustic absorption, the core material of Reapor panels is naturally free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), known to harm the environment. Further, the fusing process dispenses with the need for binders, which are also known to generate VOCs and, in the event of fire, smoke. Being non-combustible (tested to meet DIN 4102 A1) makes Reapor the soundproofing panel of choice for today’s specifiers facing tougher fire codes, particularly for schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, plant rooms, substations, exitways, smoking areas, stairwells, airports and railway terminals. This unique product, which comes in panels up to 625 x 625 x 50, will give long life outdoors and indoors. The rigid, durable material is unaffected by water. It is lightweight, workable with conventional woodworking tools, easy to clean and repair, fibre free and safe to use. Moreover, Reapor is completely recyclable.
