Restricted gate run-off constraint solution by Magnetic.

Magnetic recently installed an off-set bi-parting MTG gate for a bus terminus yard.

The area where the gate was to be installed had restricted run-off space on one side; therefore Magnetic designed a bi-parting gate that was offset. The gate leaf spans measured 9 metres and 6 metres which also allowed buses to swing into the yard from a tight access road.

By having a bi-parting system, as opposed to one large gate, allowed ease of access and the ability to control access where there is restricted gate travel.

The bi-parting gates are constructed from fully welded Australian-made steel and is hot dipped galvanised for total protection and maximum life span. The gates are controlled by two motors; therefore the speeds can be varied dependent on the duty cycle of the gates.
