Quietblade® by Quiet Art at University of Queensland
Conrad Gargett Riddel have transformed the University of Queensland’s School of Biological Sciences out-dated laboratories into high quality teaching spaces, delivering striking, high quality, state-of-the-art teaching spaces that are future oriented with facilities to teach 21st century biology.
The new teaching facilities located within the Heritage Listed Goddard Building (1956) include two distinctly different interactive laboratory facilities, a high-tech wet laboratory and an interactive teaching space. The spaces enable computer based learning, modern flexible teaching spaces and cutting edge equipment.
Quietblades® by Quiet Art were used to treat the ceiling in both spaces to complement the linear features while providing sound absorption within the spaces. QuietPanel® acoustic panels were also used to treat the walls in the interactive teaching space.
