Microsoft and Gensler choose Venice Terrazzo
Microsoft New York.

Specified by Gensler Architects and chosen by Microsoft for their new New York workplace is Venice Terrazzo by Concrete Collaborative. Given Microsoft was ranked number 1 in the list of the World's Best Multinational Workplaces by the Great Place to Work Institute in 2011 and that Gensler is the largest US based architect, it is some recognition for our Venice Terrazzo range.

The specific product used was Alabaster marble in a 300x600x15 mm tile. Of course the Venice range is limited only by imagination with a matrix of integral colour, a choice of aggregates (marble/granite/basalt/quartz), formats up to 1200x1200x25 mm, finishes (sawn/honed/polished) and even in the form of in-situ pre-mix bags for polished concrete overlays or precast countertop slabs. Concrete-collaborative.com states "refined and contemporary – distinctive character and style forge a fresh take on retro terrazzo. Natural stone aggregate and 'all-natural' materials create subtle movement in this versatile and environmentally preferable product range." Venice is but one part of the Concrete Collaborative concrete tile range that includes Laguna, Solana and Trails outdoor premium paver tile.
