Formcraft visits the City of Neon Lights
In January Formcraft Directors Mike and Rob Schock travelled across the globe to participate in the largest international concrete tradeshow, World of Concrete (WOC), held in Las Vegas.
This year was WOC’s 40th anniversary and it drew a crowd of over 48,000 people who attended the five day annual event to see cutting edge technology in the concrete industry showcased by leading industry suppliers. WOC featured innovative tools, construction machinery, construction equipment, safety training courses and training, technologies and endless networking. The exhibition attracts many international visitors and over 1,250 exhibitors filled the 570,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space in the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
Formcraft was able to showcase some of its new developments in permanent formwork systems including its world-first pre-finished thin panel wall system and 3D PreCast ICF™ system.
Formcraft Executive Director, Rob Schock comments, “We believe that our pre-finished permanent formwork systems offer a unique and efficient wall solution for many projects by negating the need for exterior scaffolding and exterior finishing labour in the medium rise construction market. We also believe that there are advantages in the flexibility and low establishment costs associated with our 3D PreCast systems for apartment developments.”
As part of its current international expansion program, Formcraft is offering manufacturing and distribution licences in a number of counties and regions including the USA, Middle East, India, Europe and SE Asia.
Formcraft received a great response from those who visited the stand and the Formcraft team were able to generate some international interest in the innovative Formcraft products. The Formcraft booth looked fantastic complete with a colourful banner, large TV and two suave men waiting to chat to any likely suspects.
The tradeshow was a great success and Formcraft highly enjoyed the experience.
