DecoWood™ and DecoArt™ feature in McDonald's across Australia

McDonald's have installed DecoWood™ slats at a number of their restaurants around Australia for the look of natural timber without the issues with high maintenance, poor durability and graffiti removal.

DecoWood™ is a wood grain powder coating on aluminium that boasts the strength and durability of aluminium as well as a high chemical resistance, meaning graffiti can simply be wiped off using household chemicals. Best of all, its maintenance-free!

The DecoWood™ slats were used in many different applications such as façades and privacy screens in the drive-through section and around the outdoor eating areas. Fabrication and installation of the slats was completed by MetalART Industries.

DecoArt™ has also been used to make signage of the McDonald's motif for the free standing and food court restaurants.

DecoArt™ enables any photographic image to be powder coated onto aluminium with absolute precision, such as corporate logos or decorative patterns.

The beauty of using DecoArt™ for the signage in the food court locations is that the aluminium flat sheets can be post-formed to fit around the columns in the mall.
