Covet Kabebari system used in the Spectrum Apartments foyer.

Covet Artwood from Japan was recently installed in a new development, called Spectrum Apartments, in Box Hill, Melbourne. Designed by KUD and developed by Shangyi Property this building makes a bold, contemporary statement.

The designer selected the Covet aluminium cladding system called Ever Artwood from Takasho Japan for the entry lobby.

The battens employed were the 2-section Kabebari system designed for ease of installation and concealed fixings. The project was pre-cut from shop drawings in Japan and involved over 600 battens.

The designers and client were drawn to the fire rating (AS/NZ 3837 - group 1), realistic timber aesthetic, precision and low maintenance aspect of the material.

Unique outdoor lighting, cladding and flooring.
