Britton Timbers supplied Australian Chestnut timber at the Maroondah City Council's Realm feature staircase.

Maroondah City Council's Realm is a regional resource for the community of Melbourne's East, featuring the Council's customer service centre, a library and a cultural and contemporary art space - all in one location.

The feature staircase and art gallery floor timber was supplied by Britton Timbers and used a combination of predominately Australian Chestnut with Stringybark. These hard wearing southern Australian timber species fitted the client's criteria and are characterised by subtle colour variations from mellow straw brown to light chocolates.
