Biowood composite decking is bushfire resistant up to BAL-29
Biowood BAL-29 CSIRO Fire Test Report.

Biowood Australia is pleased to announce the release of Biowood bushfire resistant composite decking, which resists fire up to BAL-29 as per AS 3959:2009.

The product offers an alternative aesthetic natural wood look, without the hassles of splitting, cracking, warping, and cupping, and is designed to be low-maintenance in Australian conditions.

Biowood architectural composite wood decking is a proven, time-tested product that has been applied in marine and pool contexts in residential and commercial projects across Australia.

Biowood architectural composite wood decking, once coated with our recommended UV protective and ultra-grip coatings, has a colour longevity up to 3 times that of comparable products, and achieves an R-11 slip resistant rating as per AS/NZS 4586:2004.

One of the advantages of Biowood architectural composite decking behaving like natural wood is that it can be re-sanded and re-sealed if required, to restore its original look after years of use.
