ATDC passes the Jemmy and Dynamic Impact tests

In February 2013 our SO3 and SO6 trellis doors passed the Australian Standards Jemmy test and Dynamic Impact tests. This makes them the only trellis products on the market to have passed the tests.

Watch the videos below for actual footage of the tests.

Dynamic Impact test

This simulates a kick against the screen, imparting 100 joules of energy. The test unit must withstand 5 such impacts. Our product withstood the attack easily.

Manual Jemmy test

This test recreates a real-life situation where a burglar tries to lever his way into your home or business. The test unit fails if a gap greater than 15 cm is attained. As you can see, the 'burglar' fails to create even a gap of 1 cm across two test units.

Jig-based Jemmy test

This test creates the perfect entry attempt with a long screwdriver. A real-life burglar would not be able to apply such perfect leverage to your security door, yet our Trellis Security Door still withstands it easily.
